About the project
Our task was to create an online store with painted car parts, where the biggest challenge was to minimize the risk of the customer ordering an item that will not fit a specific vehicle version or will be in the wrong color.
To avoid such errors, we have built three paths for searching for parts in the store: by vehicle model and make, by registration number and by original part number. Additionally, to be 100% sure at the basket stage, we have added a field that requires the buyer to provide the vehicle's VIN number. Thanks to this, the Karosserie Express team can additionally confirm that the ordered part is correct and fits the vehicle perfectly.
Side technologies
We began our cooperation by designing the visual identification, after which we began work on creating an online store. We went through the workshop stage, the creation process, developing mockups, designing the design, ending with the implementation and publication of the service.
Challenges
- Creating a transparent product search path connected to a database of manufactured vehicle versions
- Introducing an unusual process for purchasing products not in stock
- Minimizing the risk of ordering the wrong part by mistake
Solutions
- We created an API with a vehicle database, which allowed us to catalog products for specific vehicles and paved the way for the creation of three comprehensive search engines.
- We added functionality that allows users to purchase products that are not in stock. The user can enter the vehicle model and the paint code in which they need the element. The Karosserie Express system treats such orders as individual and prepares a product tailored to the customer's needs.
- At the basket stage, we added a field that requires the buyer to provide the vehicle's VIN number. Thanks to this, the Karosserie Express team can additionally confirm that the ordered part is correct and fits the vehicle perfectly.

We created a platform that perfectly matched the Client's requirements, and users can quickly find products that interest them.

A clear and simple vehicle search engine allows the customer to view only those products that match their vehicle. Additional options in the form of a search engine by registration number allow users to quickly find a vehicle.
At each stage of browsing products, we have information about the selected vehicle and the possibility of changing it. This significantly reduces the possibility of error.
Each product has a table with detailed information about the cars the item fits.
